Tyler, Nicki, and Larkin McClure
Tyler and Nicki met at Liberty University in 2007, where they discovered each other’s love for God, love for people, and passion to use sports to build relationships and reach people all over the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nicki received her Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s Ministry, and Tyler received his degrees in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. Tyler continued his education by receiving his Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership.
Tyler is the director of Axiom Sports, which is a Christian sports organization with a mission to use sports to impact the world (you can find Axiom’s website at axiomunited.com). Axiom began by a group of college athletes who ran one soccer (or football) camp in the United States, and has expanded to run programs in multiple states and countries. Axiom will continue to run camps in the United States, while utilizing those students to serve overseas and use their athletic ability to reach others.Tyler, Nicki, and their precious 2 year old, Larkin, are currently living in Stuarts Draft, VA, where they own 2nd String Sports Consignment, coach at the local public school, and run Axiom Sports.
This past summer Axiom Sports launched Axiom International and sent its first volleyball team to the UK. It was during this trip that God absolutely rocked their world and gave them a passion for the people of England. The McClures will now begin to raise support to move to the UK and run Axiom Sports full time.
The McClures are excited about the opportunity to partner with UK-USA Ministries. They feel like their gifts will fit perfectly into the vision of the organization, and Axiom Sports will be a valuable tool to help build relationships with the people of the Tees Valley and beyond.
Nicki will use her experience as a former All-American volleyball player partnered with her love for discipling young females to reach, grow, and send students out into the world, while Tyler will use his experience in sports camps ministry coupled with his leadership experience to teach, train, and holistically develop students.
Axiom Sports will partner with UK-USA Ministries to use sports as a platform to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
